1Why do I need an OMS when Manual order entry works fine?
For growing businesses, manual order entry results in highly inefficient operations, issues include lost service due to errors in order processing, missed orders or line items. With an OMS, Not only the process of receiving orders can become fully automated, you generate tons of valuable data for advanced analytics that feed into other systems(e.g Sales Forecasting, Order Analytics).
2What order document formats can orders be received in?
Orders can be ingested by our OMS in vector PDF files, CSV, JSON, XML or other EDI document formats. To ensure holistic support we even allow order upload via Excel and manual entry from Handheld terminals.
3How can orders be received/uploaded into OMS
We allow inbound orders to flow-in via email, document upload to our portal. Our OMS can also fetch orders from your customers that expose SFTP Folders, REST API Endpoints or any other custom document transmission methods.
4What ERP Systems can receive the orders created by OMS?
OMS can enter orders into various destination systems. We support native Integration for SAP System, In addition to this, we can deal with other ERP systems that exposes different forms of APIs or can read standard inbound files(i.e XML/IDOC/JSON)
5If our ERP system is on corporate intranet, inaccessible from public internet, Can OMS still send orders?
Wherever destination system is inaccessible on public WAN, our OMS Gateway application can be run on-premise/Your Intranet to receive and enter orders into your ERP system. All of this can be achieved without any inbound firewall rules or NAT Setup.
6What is the typical accuracy of document Interpretation?
When the inbound orders arrive in vector PDFs or any of the supported electronic document formats mentioned earlier, we can easily achieve 100% accuracy and we prefer that orders come in such formats. However, where that's not possible, for orders received as images/Scanned documents, human review of orders after ingestion is generally required.
7What is the Investment needed for this product?
We are willing to collaboratively work out a model where you can get started with a negligible capex investment, and a low per document order processing fee.
8Do you support direct EDI integration with Customers
We already offer direct integration with customers like Amazon and can setup an integration with any other customer respecting their existing order document formats and transmission protocols.
9Our Customers order products on their ERP Codes, How is translation to our codes managed?
Most Customers place orders using their own ERP Codes/Barcodes. OMS can automatically map the codes to relevant products in your inventory, allowing automated entry into your ERP system as well as smooth liquidation of your products.
